1. “Wuthering Heights” – Emerald Fennell

Following the popular yet controversial release of Saltburn, director Emerald Fennell has people talking once again with her loose reimagining of Emily Brontë’s beloved novel Wuthering Heights. 2. The Drama – Kristoffer Borgli

In this upcoming A24 release starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, a happily engaged couple are put to the test when an unexpected turn sends their wedding week off the rails. It’s a big year for both actors, but this film is sure to have seats filled.
3. The Odyssey – Christopher Nolan

This is a release you simply cannot miss.
4. The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping – Francis Lawrence

Fans have been asking for Haymitch’s story for over a decade, and Suzanne Collins finally delivered with the novel in 2025. 5. Narnia: The Magicians Nephew – Greta Gerwig

Greta Gerwig continues to raise the bar with each release, and The Magician’s Nephew looks to be no exception. While details remain scarce, producer Amy Pascal has described it as a ‘rock and roll’ take, featuring contemporary music inspired by bands like Pink Floyd and The Doors. We may not know what to expect, but Gerwig rarely disappoints.
6. How to Make a Killing – John Patton Ford

Following his directorial debut Emily the Criminal, John Patton Ford reunites with A24 for How to Make a Killing. Glen Powell stars as Beckett Redfellow, a man disowned at birth by his wealthy family who will stop at nothing to reclaim his inheritance – no matter how many relatives stand in his way.
7. Project Hail Mary – Phil Lord & Chris Miller

Adapted from Andy Weir’s 2021 science-fiction novel, the film follows Dr. Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling) as he wakes up alone on an interstellar spacecraft with no memory of how he got there, only to realise he’s on a mission to save planet Earth.
8. Avengers: Doomsday – Anthony & Joe Russo

With the plot firmly under lock and key, very little is known about the next Avengers instalment beyond parts of its cast and a handful of teaser trailers. But if you’re a Marvel fan, this is one you won’t want to miss – the first major Avengers event since Endgame.
9. Mother Mary – David Lowery

Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel star in the upcoming psychological drama-thriller-horror Mother Mary. When pop star Mother Mary reunites with her estranged best friend and former costume designer on the eve of her comeback performance, long-buried wounds resurface. 10. Digger – Alejandro G. Iñárritu

11. Dune: Part Three – Denis Villenueve

Based on Frank Herbert’s 1969 novel Dune Messiah, the third and final instalment in the Dune trilogy is finally on its way.
